merry christmas

im leaving for tarlac in a few minutes. i can't wait to see my relatives. two reunions and lots and lots of food, games, gifts and moolah. hehehe i wont be seeing alvin on christmas but its all good. this is a happy christmas even if the weather aint so cold and even if there really arent lots of christmas lights and christmas carols.

christmas shopping

i went christmas shopping yesterday with alvin. we spent the whole day at the mall looking around for gifts. i finally got him his presents!yahoo!!! hehehe i bought all of the things in his wishlist except for the PS3 and xbox360. i dont have the money to afford those toys. i'll leave that to tito and tita hahaha.

a few more days before christmas. i can't wait!

two more days of simbang gabi! heheheh its going to be my 5th year of complete simbang gabis!!! hehehe

i still don't have a christmas dress... shopping again later....

i abhore traffic

i decided to go home during my 3-hour break. bad move. i spent 1 whole hour on the rode because of the effin traffic. super traffic!!!! gggrrr ateneo pa lang traffic na!!! tapos there's katipunan and xavierville avenue traffic pa! my house should just be 5 minutes away from school pero nagiging 30 minutes - 1 hour siya! nakakagigil!!! haaayyy... kakaiba yung traffic kanina. siguro kasi exams ng Miriam and christmas party ng ateneo ngayon. hhhmmm oh well hassle pa din kasi kailangan kong ipagsiksikan yung explorer sa mga suloksulok!!! hassle kasi ang haba haba at medyo malapad yung kotse. hehehe

nakakainis pa yung mga tricycle at mga kotse na nag coucounter flow! gggrrr mas nagiging traffic dahil nahaharangan nila yung mga dapat na daanan nung nasa kabilang lane! hay naku mga pilipino talaga hindi makapaghintay. hahahah (isa na din siguro ako sa mga pilipino na hindi makapaghintay dahil naglalabas ako ng init ng ulo dito sa blog na to) hahaha oh well. nakakpagod kasi magmaneho pagka traffic e. maswerte na ako at manual yung kotse ko. mas nakakapagod kung manual. palit ng palit ng gears! hehehe haayyy... at leastw ala ng pasok yung gradeschool sa monday! bawas traffic! hahaha

dear baby jesus,

i've always asked you for material things like clothes, gadgets and shoes. i've been a very materialistic person. this year, id only ask for my family and loved ones' good health, safety, happiness and success. id be the happiest person if my sick relatives would be able to recover from their sickness as soon as possible. i wish and pray that papa wouldn't have kidney malfunctions anymore and for him to be super healthy and strong. i pray that papa jun wouldn't have any heart problems. just please let all of them be ok.

the family (bello family) had dinner at jade garden yesterday to celebrate tita jenny's birthday. nothing spectacular happened. just the usual get together and chit chat with cousins, titos and titas.

after dinner we all went to policarpio street to see the houses that are decorated with thousands and thousands of christmas lights. while we were walking, a group of boys were trailing behind us and kept on saying that i was iwa moto (sp?) what the f*^%!!!! waaahhhh crazy blind men. i dont even have her eyes!!! bleh... i dont look like her. hehehe i super laughed when i heard that! hehehe anyway, only a few of the homes were lit. the most decorated house wasn't lighted because it rained earlier and they dont want to open the lights because they are wet pa daw. boo...we just went there to buy putobumbong (yum yum yum) while going back to the car there were two men walking beside us. when they walked past us, one of them was looking seductively at kuya pao!! hehehe the look on the guy/gay was funny parang nagpapacute na hindi ko maintindihan!! hehehe we couldnt help but laugh when he was already out of earshot! hehehe

i left the house for school a little later than i usually do. 7:05 instead of 7:00. it was already traffic when i got to xavierville avenue. in a span of 5 minutes there's already traffic. gggrrr... i hate it when there's traffic. it's harder to shift lanes and make a u-turn because the car i bring to school is super big. well not super super big as in toyota high ace big but the explorer is kind off long for a new driver like me. hahaha but i love that car. anyway, i got to school at 7:25. that's already late for me since i always get to school at around 7:15. hahaha katipunan and ateneo traffic makes me crazy (pati na good times with mo). i didnt get to park the car in my usual parking slot because it was laready taken and most of the nearer parking areas were already taken as well. boo. i hate having to park the car farther from ctc. actually i just want to park in my usual spot because its easier to park the explorer there. i wouldnt have to do a lot of estimating and maneyobra (sp?). i really need to know how to park in narrow places and i need to perfect my parallel parking skills.

i recited during finance class. i solved one of the problems that were assigned to us by Ms. Balcos. the whole 1 hr. and 30 mins. was spent on classmates writing on the board and explaining the answers. it was a pretty boring finance class but its a good preparation for our longtest nextweek!

it was our ( alvin and i ) monthsary yesterday! yay! 22 months and more to go. it seems like it was just a few months back when the two of us got together. i can say that we've been through a lot of ups and downs. it's all good. i am in a happy and healthy realtionship. yes there would be fights and tampuhans but those are inevitable in a relationship. im lucky to have a very mature and patient boyfriend. he's more calm and rationale when we fight. im more of the talker and nagger.w ahahahha anyway im just happy right now that i dont know how to start and how to put into words my emotions. heheh basta masaya ako...sobrang saya....

its good to be happy

the past month has been wonderful. ive been happy and stress free. yes there still is work but i am enjoying what i am doing. its good to be happy. i remember that while im having my routine interview, i told ms. aicel that i couldnt ask for anything more and that i am really happy at the moment. well i still ask God for my family and friends' good health and safety but for material things... i can do with out them. the jeans, top, cellphone, bikinis, shoes, etc would be just bonuses.

a few more days before christmas. i still dont feel the christmas spirit. there are less christmas lights here in our village and less christmas carols being played in malls or on radio stations. i know that the things mentioned are just snippets of christmas and its all about welcoming jesus in our hearts. but i miss those happy and lively christmases. hehehe i can't wait for simbang gabi, bazaar hopping, exchange gifts, christmas shopping, family reunions and the christmas mass!!! yay!!!

wonderful weekend

im lazy to include all the details...

friday:
reming didnt really made its presence felt here in manila so my sister jessica, alvin and i just went out. we went to glorietta to watch happy feet! the movie was cute but there were draggy parts!!! the penguins were so lovable!!! hehehe my feet were happy during the movie!!!

after the movie my sister and i dragged alvin to shoe shopping. hehehe we bought new footsies! then we had dinner at italianni's. yummy yummy roasted chicken!! jessica was the last one to finish her food as always. it took her 1.30 hours to finish the pasta she ordered! hahaha

krispy kreme was our next destination. lined up for 20 minutes to buy doughnuts! hehehe yummy yummy yummy!!! heheh fattening too....

got home tired but its all good i really enjoyed the day with alvin and jek!!!

saturday:
went home to tarlac. heheh super kaduper happy to go back there after a long time!!! i had my nails done pa pala!

sunday:
went to church. decorated lolas house with christmas decors. went back to manila. on our way back to manila, we had a stop over at burger machine. i finally got to eat BM burger!!! heheheh it did taste good!!! hehehe we also passed by ate pia's house in angeles and mcdo clark. then we went to tita ita's house in san fernando. stayed there for a while. they had lots of dogs (1 black labrador, 1 chihuahua, 1 german shepherd). got to play with the lab and teh chihuachua. heheh im finally getting over my fear of dogs.. got home at around 9pm.

heheheh this entry is nonsense...

anyway i finally made a step to make my dreams come true... heheheh keeping my fingers crossed!!!

the answer to my prayers

last night while alvin and i were at the living room, he told me that "God answers our prayers through the people around us". i was half asleep when he said that to me. i think i said "that was nice" until i finally fell asleep (with my head leaning on his shoulder). he woke me up a few minutes after and said that he'd go home already because it was getting late. before he left he asked me if i remembered the things he said earlier, i said no because i fell asleep. he repeated the quote to me and then i hugged him super tight. i cried. he is God's answer to all my prayers. alvin didnt leave yet. we still talked for a while, pouring our hearts out to each other. i know its mushy or too cheesy but that moment was just wonderful. it was perfect. before he left, i told him that i asked God to help me become a better person and that he answered my prayer through Alvin because he is such a nice and loving person that all the positive adjectives in the world would not be enough to describe him. He ain't perfect but he's the closest to perfection that i can have...

a child with no home

during my break i went to starbucks to study and have coffee. i went there alone because alvin had a meeting with his coach and frankie. when i got to starbucks, i ordered my frappe, took a seat, and read my philo readings on the discourse. after consuming half of my drink, i had to go to the lavatory. when i was on my way back top my seat, i saw bianca, my former teammate.

bianca is someone i always see at starbucks. she was there studying for her electives. two more electives and her masters is done! anyhoo... we had a chat about our teammates, the eco dept teachers and about taking up masters or mba. goodness gracious, one more year and then i would have to decide if i should take my masters immediately or work. im really more keen on working first so that i could save up money for further studies. i really want to study in hongkong or singapore. i can't study somewhere in europe or the us because id be too homesick. one more year before i make that decision. i just hope that id get a nice paying job so that i could live comfortably. anyway after our chat, i just continued with my readings until alvin got there to pick me up.

alvin got to starbucks at around 1:45. we walked to the blue eagle gym because he parked his car there. while passing by the over pass, i saw this kid sleeping on the steps of the stairs. i felt bad for him. at that very moemnt when i saw the kid i told alvin, " kawawa naman yung bata". he must be very tired and hungry at that time that all he could do was sleep to let his hunger pass. he might not even have a house to go home to at the end of the day. i felt bad for the kid. here i am with a comfortable life, a house to go home to, food to eat whenever im hungry or money to spend and there's the kid sleeping on the steps of the overpass who probably doesnt even have a third of what i have. life could be really unfair. its sad. i wish that everyone could just have comfortable lives. i hope that one day, i could do something so that there would no longer be kids or people sleeping on overpass stairs, sidewalks or karitons.

i can't wait!!! i love the christmas season. i can't wait for simbang gabi to start!! i love how cold it gets at 430 in the morning. i like walking to the chapel here in our village and seeing all the christmas lights decorated on my neighbors' homes. i love it whenever i hear christmas songs being played in malls. i feel giddy whenever i shop for gifts and then christmas carols are playing in the background! hehehe anyway i cant wait to go shopping for my family and friends! i super want to buy a lot of things!!! anyway since christmas is just around the corner, here's my wishlist for this year!

in no particular order...

1. mobile phone (nokia 7373, 7390, n70, n80 or n95)
2. more closed flat shoes (i have SOM class everyday. i want them in gold, silver, red and brown)
3. bikinis (malapit na ang summer!! hahaha)
4. tops
5. more jeans (size 26..actually it depends on the brand wahahaha)
6. shorts (any color will do)
7. bags bags bags (if santa is really nice..i want the mini lin louis vuitton speedy bag...hehehehe)
8. more jackets or cover ups
9. books
10. ticket to hongkong/boracay/bangkok hahahaha

hehehe this is my simplest christmas wishlist so far. i'll keep my non material wishlist personal. hehehe i'll just share it to papa God. i know he'll listen. =)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

MC fight!!!

we didnt go to Joanna's family day because she was too sleepy to wake up and get dressed for it. we just attended jessica's competition.

when we got to the venue of the competition, the team before them was already performing. when it was Miriam's turn to cheer, i cant help but feel happy. happy because i felt as if i was still in high scool and because boosters still had that greatness in them! hehehe they were still sharp and the routine they made was good! ganda talaga ng MC fight! hehehe the hardcourt however wasnt as good as before. they werent that sharp, fexible and snappy like how they were when i was in highschool. the routine wasnt that nice also. i guess ate nats' (sp?) move to HK somehow affected the girls. hehehe anyway, MC didnt get to bag the first plac! San beda college alabang won as the champion this year and MC the first runner up. the routine of san beda wasnt really spectacular but their energy was beyond maximum! heheh although MC didnt get to bag the first place its all good! everyone enjoyed the competition and i know that they did their best! hehehe my sister might be the captain next year! hahaha snaps for her!!! i hope they win next year!!!

i miss highschool. i miss training with boosters. i miss kulogs. i miss the adrenaline that competitions bring. i miss cheering for the school. i miss making steps and cheers for the team with the kulogs. i miss doing the nod that MC is known for. hahah i just miss the happy and easy life of being in high school. =)

* alvin dropped by while we were having lunch before he went to his training. i miss him already...

yesterday was super fun!

after alvin's iac game, we immediately went home to dress up for our get together dinner with my cousins and tita. after everyone finished dressing up, we went to mama minda's house to meet up with ate cielo and the others. we then had a convoy to eastwood.

we just had dinner at fazolli's because everyone wanted pizza and pasta when we were talking about dinner the other day. since ate cielo is working already as an FA at Asiana, she payed for dinner. dinner was fun because almost all of us cousins and boyfriends were there. karla didnt follow na because she was already tired and lazy from her training. tita mean and tito eric came just before everyone finished eating dinner. anyway dinner was fun. good food and good kwentos.

after dinner we were supposed to watch happy feet but the seats were all taken already. tito eric then suggested that we play bowling. so after 10 minutes of talking about what to do (eat dessert or play bowling) we decided to play bowling. all of us played except for katkat who was lazy daw to play. tito eric was good in bowling as well as alvin. joanna was the second best player!!! haha the kid doesnt really even know how to play but her throws (is that how you call it?) were all suave!!! she had 3-4 strikes and 3 spares!!! tito eric said she has potential! hahaha anyway the funniest players were ron and ate cielo. ron had this funny way of releasing the ball kasi. ate cielo naman while she was walking to the border line na the ball just fell from her hands. naiwan yung ball! hahaha the 8 pound bowling ball was too heavy for her!!!

after bowling we just had dessert at jack's loft. we just ate and shared stories. it was fun because even tita mean and tito eric can relate to us. hahaha we went home at around 1 since everyone was already tired and getting sleepy!

**its joanna's family day today and after that would be jessica's cheering competition!

dr. venida didnt go to class. boo. ive waited for three hours in shcool just to find out that his class is free cut.

tth days are officially bonding days with missy. hahaha its back to the old days. anyway ive been pigging out lately. yay for me! i think i need to gain a few pounds. hhhmmm but dont worry i dont have an eating disorder! i do eat and i dont throw up after eating. its just hard for me to gain soem weight now.

** mama bought a new lv bag... i want it!!! hehehe i can always borrow!! hhhmm maybe she'd give me the mini lin speedy bag ive been wanting for ages for christmas! hehehe

traffic along katipunan was crazy! it usually takes me 15-20 minutes to get home from school on regular school days. that 15-20 minutes should really be just a 3-5 minutes drive if there aint traffic. anyway today was crazy!!!! it took me an hour to get home from ateneo!!! my house is just a kilometer or two away from ateneo and it took me an hour!!! oh well.. at least i get to practice driving in heavy traffic! heheheh i hope to get a smaller car though like a civic, altis or focus. sometimes i feel like the explorer is too big for me. heheh but i love it! i love big cars! heheh actually i still am dreaming of a black super crew f150! hahaha

anyway...i cant wait for friday!!! im having dinner with my cousins!!! ate ciel is back from korea that's why we'll be having a get together!!! kids and boyfriends only! hehehe

the past few days have been wonderful. finally i have enough time to study and work. no more stress and hassles. i cant be any happier. everything really has to end.

anyway, yesterday was a pretty long day. i only had class untill 1030 because Dr. Venida still aint around. After my philo class i just had lunch with missy. It was fun talking to her again. i super missed her. i missed talking to her about everything. we talked about shopping, travelling, living abroad and studyinga fter college. We're going to the states after graduation for a vacation. Hopefully frankie can go with us! after chatting for an hour and a half, she had to go to her econometrics class already so i just met up with alvin. we just went to matteo ricci to study. when it was time for him to go to his class i just went online since i was already tired from studying for finance. hehehe

after his last class, we had our merienda at TOSH and then we went back to school for his basketball game. Alvin adn his teammates won the game! heheh yay! after the game we went home na.

alvin had his hair shaved off the other day!!! hehehe i had my long over due foot massage, manicure and pedicure!! hehe i feel like a princess!!! hehehe

im resigning from my position as vp for hr today. the desire, passion and determination to do my job burnt out already. there was no positive reinforcements and i felt as if i was the only one working for the projects. others don't even care. just like what the priest said yesterday, everythging has an end.

im broke. well nopt really that broke but ive spent too much money shopping this week. anyway the phones i want are coming out by december! hahaha but i wont be getting them agad. i'll get a new phone by feb pa siguro.
